How to open chubs
We recommend opening the chubs while frozen, and thawing out of the tube. This is much cleaner and less waste. Running under water for a few seconds loosens food in the crevices at the end of the tube. Thawing the chub on the counter once out of the tube for 30-45 minutes usually allows you to cut it in half if needed.
Food is good in the fridge thawed for 2-3 days. You could also refreeze one time if needed (for portioning or stuffing).
