Whole Herring

These are the nice, small sized herring. Approximately, 9-14 fish per pound. Each fish is approximately 4"- 6" in length.

Herrings are an excellent source of easily digestible, low-fat protein, rich in long-chain, omega-3 fatty acids EPA and DHA. Herrings are an excellent source of vitamin B12 and a good source of phosphorus and vitamins D, B3, and B6. Adding whole fish will help keep the over-all diet balanced, as they can help maintain a dog’s healthy skin and coat, boost the immune system and decrease the inflammation in the body typically associated with the likes of arthritis. Frozen herring are also great to feed to teething puppies!
