The Ultimate Turkey diet is a complete blend. You will find the right amount of muscle meat, bone, organs, tripe and no filler. The Ultimate mixes follow the PMR (prey model raw) guidelines. Carnivores require more than just meat in a proper raw diet. The right amount of bone, and secreting organ is just as crucial as the muscle meat is in a raw diet. Not all organs are secreting organs. The Ultimate Turkey has the right amount of liver and kidney to make sure your carnivore is getting the right amounts of vitamins they require for optimal health. The Ultimate Turkey also has 10% of green tripe. Tripe is full of nutrition and also helps even the pickiest eaters love their food. Tripe has manganese, zinc, copper, potassium and iron, all of which are necessary for carnivores. Another benefit of green tripe is digestive enzymes, probiotics and prebiotics. You will also find essential fatty acids like omega 3 & 6, and amino acids in green tripe. Generally, Ultimate Turkey is a good place to start when transitioning to a raw diet when you cannot feed chicken.
We always recommend rotating proteins as your budget and dogs preferences allow. Although we believe raw is always best, it is not advisable to feed only one protein source for an indefinite period of time.
